I have been amazed at the colours and diversity of flowers in my garden and have decided to focus on my own space this week and try to capture some semi-abstract interpretations! Here is my first, mainly incorporating some luscious purple foxgloves and a mauve and blue palette of colours. I have used intense watercolours on a handmade paper with a lovely deckle edge. The painting is sold mounted to show the deckle edge of the hand-made paper that it is painted on and has a lovely blue distressed wood frame with glass for protection. It could also be sold un-framed, please contact me for this option.
